Your Dentist Dr. Diederik (Diedo) Millenaar |  | Dr. Millenaar graduated with Honours in both Physical Education and Dentistry from the University of Western Ontario. He was awarded the Senior Award in Pediatric Dentistry upon graduation in 1996. After finishing a year-long residency at B.C. Children's Hospital, he went on to complete his specialty training in New York in 1999, and has been a certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry since that time.
Dr. Millenaar is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and member of both the Canadian and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Millenaar is conversant in Dutch, French, and Spanish. He and his wife have two young children, which keep them very busy. Besides enjoying family life, Dr. Millenaar is an avid swimmer and hockey player.
Dr. Millenaar continues in the tradition of the esteemed children`s dentist, Dr. Gordon Jinks, who advanced the specialty`s knowledge in the areas of rubber dam isolation, fluoride-releasing cements, and behaviour management. |
