New Patients New PatientsWe accept new patients from infancy to the age of nine, and graduate patients at the age of 13. | |
First Visit | | Your child's first visit is for an examination and x-rays (if necessary), and to discuss a treatment plan. At this time we will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your child's dental treatment. |
Materials | | We are a mercury-free practice, focusing on esthetic restoration for your child's teeth. We use only acrylic composite materials which are tooth-coloured fillings. However, in some cases we may require stainless steel crowns on posterior teeth. |
Treatments | | To make your child's visit more comfortable, we use a liquid anxiety-reducing medication to relax your child before any dental surgery. This is an individual dose given according to the child's age, weight, and treatment required. The medication is given by the parent, or in our office, 2.5 hours prior to the child's appointment. |
Payment | We deal directly with dental insurance plans on your behalf. However, any portion of the treatment not covered by the dental plan is the patient's responsibility. We are happy to offer estimates for any work that will be required for your child.
The patient's portion of payment is due in full at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, debit, and cash. We do not accept cheques.
We accommodate those patients with government-assisted insurance plans such as MSSH, NIHB, and "Healthy Kids". |
